Obama Scholars: Program Criteria
- Be admitted to ASU as a full-time, first bachelor degree seeking Arizona Resident. Native American high school seniors not residing in Arizona that meet the Arizona residency criteria for tuition purposes at ASU are eligible.
- Enter ASU beginning the fall semester immediately after Arizona high school graduation.
- Have a demonstrated total family income that is consistently $60,000 or less on the FAFSA.
- Program participants must maintain satisfactory academic progress for up to eight full-time, consecutive fall and spring semesters to remain in the program.
